Sharing our awesome Bartram Trail DECA members that planned, organized, executed and delivered over 5000 items to HUGS St. John! Not only did the members run food drives in their neighborhoods, they restocked the BT food pantry, brought 4 car loads of food to the HUGS warehouse, and sorted the donated food at the warehouse.

The Jacksonville Branch of the American Society of Civil Engineers recently held a competition in bridge design using structural analysis software…and the results are in. Nease High School won 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the competition. Caleb Kramer won 3rd place, Shane Mayfarth took 2nd place, and William Natour won the 1st place award.
The SkillsUSA members of Pedro Menendez High School really showed up for the Skills USA Florida State Competition in April. Mr. Miska teaches Algebra II and hosts a Teaching Academy student intern. Student Ambassador, Zariah James sat down for a quick interview to inquire about his teaching during the pandemic. He said he hasn’t used a projector since he began teaching at St. Augustine High School. He’s had to change his teaching style completely to adjust to the blended classroom setting. He hopes to return to normal next school year, but he’s making the best impact he can on his students’ learning.
