Nease’s Academy of Hospitality & Tourism features an Advisory Board of professionals in the industry and in post-secondary education, who help ensure that our students are learning the latest and greatest information surrounding the world of hospitality and tourism. One of their business partners, Dr. David Rivera, a professor and the Director of the Hospitality and Tourism Management department at Flagler College, has taken a special interest in our Academy and its stellar students. Recently, he invited a group to visit and tour Flagler College, and they enjoyed a one-of-a-kind experience. They started by meeting with Dr. Rivera and several of his Hospitality and Tourism Management students, who shared information and their experiences in the program. Next, students got to enjoy a tour of Flagler College, and learn more about the school. Finally, they were able to cap off their experience by enjoying lunch in the school’s gorgeous dining hall. Dr. Rivera worked to make the experience a special one, and even sent the students back home with Flagler t-shirts. The students who attended said it really opened their eyes to the possibilities of studying hospitality and tourism at the next level. Many thanks to Dr. Rivera for this incredible field trip!
