Career and Technical Education (CTE) of St. Johns County
Within Nease’s Stellar Academy of Engineering, Communications Academy, and the St. Johns County Academy of Hospitality and Tourism, the relationships between the Academy programs and the business partners provide a variety of opportunities to help expand our students’ education through assemblies, field trips and competition judging.
Recently, students from Nease’s Academy of Hospitality & Tourism enjoyed a unique field trip experience at the Sawgrass Marriott Resort. The students were the first field trip group to visit “Bee Hill,” a micro-farm created by Sawgrass Marriott chef Matthew Sanchez.
When students aren’t able to miss classes to see their featured industry in action out in the real world, Nease’s Academies bring industry professionals directly to the students.
