Pedro Menendez High School – Flagler Health+ Academy of Future Healthcare Professionals

This Academy introduces students to various careers in the medical and health fields. Students take courses which include Health Science Foundations, Allied Health Assisting, and EKG Technician to prepare for a future career in the healthcare industry. They will gain valuable hospital experience by taking clinical rounds at Flagler Health Plus. Participants in this academy will have the opportunity to certify in CPR, Basic Life Support, and EKG Technician. Students will also have the opportunity to take dual enrollment courses or take advanced course work that will transition to numerous St. Johns River State College medical programs or other universities.
