In recognition of Organ Donor Appreciation Month, the Academy of Law and Homeland Security welcomed Donate Life Florida to guest speak to our students at St Augustine High School. Students made posters to share the message about life-saving organ donation and transplantation.
Students in the Academy of Law and Homeland Security are practicing the art of pulling fingerprints as forensic evidence. This activity is just one example of the many hands-on on ways students learn in Mr. Eakin’s Criminal Justice 1 course.
Jan Rolandelli was awarded the Saint Augustine High School Volunteer of the Year award. Through her Teaching Academy practicum, internships, and other volunteer work, she has accumulated 636 volunteer hours!
