Academy of Future Teachers Learning Human Growth and Development

Students in St. Augustine High School’s Academy of Future Teachers are learning what it takes to care for a developing infant child. Using RealityWorks High Tech Infants, students take on the responsibly of parenting over an extended period of time. Using advance sensors, infants are programmed to cry when needing attention, and respond to parental care such as feeding, burping, rocking, and changing diapers. Teachers can print a report and the end of the assignment to see how well the students complete their parental assignments!
