WorkStarter Helps SJCSD Graduates Obtain Their First Jobs After Graduation

This article was in the St. Augustine Humane Society newsletter in June 2018! We appreciate the efforts of Scott Branch in starting WorkStarter and obtaining a grant to provide first year salary and benefits for six of our graduates to gain their first work experience after high school.

Currently, in addition to placing two students at the St. Augustine Humane Society, WorkStarter has also placed a student at United Way as a Receptionist and at St. Johns Housing Partnership as a Carpenter’s Assistant. They are still working on two more placements for this year.
