On the recent teacher planning day, nearly 20 of Nease’s Stellar Academy of Engineering students spent their morning seeing real-world engineering at work. Three of the Stellar Academy of Engineering Advisory Board business partners offered to open up their offices to our students. Stellar, KLS Martin, and Gulfstream Design Group hosted students for this mini-internship opportunity. Students had the chance to meet with professional engineers, learn more about opportunities in the industry, tour the offices (and the brand-new manufacturing facility at KLS Martin), and at Stellar, they even had the chance to take part in an on-the-spot design challenge. A huge thank you to our partners for creating these opportunities for our students!
