We are excited to share that our Education Academy had a wonderful and successful day at the University of North Florida Future Educators Competition on Friday, November 14th! Our students represented Ponte Vedra with pride, creativity, and professionalism—and their hard work truly paid off.
A few highlights from the day:
- Anna Shuck – 1st Place in Acing the Interview
- Callum Zummo – 1st Place in Crafting Curriculum
- Cayden Pietrick – 3rd Place in Teaching Through Tales
- Olivia Binef, Ella Deluca, Natalia Otero, and Emma Gibson – 3rd Place in The Classroom Lens
Our students were also excited to spend the day with one of our former Education Academy students, Maria Diaz, who attends UNF. She volunteered to help out at the conference.
Another highlight was the panel of educators that presented during lunch. Our own Dr. Brennan Asplen, SJCSD Superintendent of Schools, was on the panel.
We are so proud of these students for their accomplishments and the way they represented our school and look forward to seeing their progress at the upcoming FFEA State Conference in Orlando.
