The Ponte Vedra High School Academy Ambassadors visited Landrum Middle School in early December to speak with the eighth-grade students about the benefits of joining a High School Academy. They detailed their classroom learning, internship and certification opportunities as well as the field study experiences. Many of the students spoke about their favorite memories and the fun they have had in their CTSO’s (HOSA, DECA, FBLA, FFEA & VEX Robotics).
Ambassadors are chosen by the Career Specialist and Academy teachers and serve as the Academy PR leads. They represent the academies at all events including Advisory Board Meetings, Academy Open House, Middle School Blitz, High School Showcase and other events as needed. Serving as an ambassador provides students with leadership opportunities and looks great on their college and career resume.
