The Ponte Vedra High School Academy of International Marketing students raced to a field study at the Daytona International Speedway to learn about their rebranding efforts and the economic impact of the speedway on the state of Florida. The Speedway hosted a tour of the new renovated stadium and a presentation by the marketing department followed by lunch in the Rolex lounge. The students also got to show off their skills by breaking into workshops with the DIS marketing team where they prepared and presented a marketing plan to attract a new younger demographic to several of their established events like the Daytona 500 and the Coke Zero 400. Overall, it was a exciting day of learning!
