Inspired by the SkillsUSA Signing Day event that began in 2019, Pedro Menendez High School celebrated 24 top-tier senior academy students on May 13th. Much like an athletic signing day, this event allowed academy seniors to sign their letters of intent to post-secondary training programs or the workforce. Students committed to nursing programs, collegiate schools of business, pre-med programs, electrical apprenticeship programs, and to companies to be CAD operators. Being able to recognize these students for making this monumental decision was a great event. Parents, friends, teachers, district administration, school board members, and business partners were able to celebrate these amazing accomplishments and share their words of wisdom and support. Looking forward to an even bigger event in the Spring of 2022.
