On Saturday, April 1, 2017, sixteen students from the Civil Engineering strand of the Academy of Engineering and Environmental Science at Creekside High built a wheelchair ramp for a local resident in a wheelchair. This was organized by the St. Johns Housing Partnership (SJHP). This was the 12th ramp the students have built over several years of collaboration with SJHP. It was also the longest at 91 feet.
