Students in the Academy of Leadership in Emerging Technologies had the opportunity to build a complex circuit of their choice. Each circuit had to have two components that work together to complete a task. Below, students created a motion detector that will count every time motion is detected. Similar circuits could be used in businesses to track customer flow.
This group decided to make a fan that was temperature sensitive. The fan will turn on and off depending on the temperature ranges which the students could program themselves using code.
Lastly, the students in the featured photo created a motion detector that sounds an alarm based on proximity. They likened it to a backup camera on a car.
