VyStar student workers wrote and submitted a 50 page paper to the regional DECA School Based Enterprise Certification Program Competition about how they run the VyStar Credit Union branch at Bartram Trail High School and earned a GOLD level certification! They will now compete at the International Career Development Conference in Atlanta on April 21 – 24, 2018. The paper had to cover retail, marketing and entrepreneurship concepts and a range of business operating standards showing the relevance of what they are learning in class with National Curriculum Standards and 21st Century employability skills. DECA is a student organization that promotes high school business education programs through competitions. Way to go!
