Kicking Off the Year: Our First Official FFA Officer Meeting

The new school year is here, and our FFA officer team is already hard at work laying the foundation for a successful and impactful chapter experience. At our first official meeting, we focused on one major goal: getting organized and inspired.

🧩 Committee Assignments & Planning

Following the National FFA Committee Framework, each officer was assigned to one of three key committees:

  • Growing Leaders
  • Building Communities
  • Strengthening Agriculture

These committees help guide our chapter’s activities and ensure we’re developing leadership, serving others, and promoting agricultural excellence.

Once assigned, officers dove into brainstorming ideas for the year ahead. The energy was high, and the creativity was flowing!

💡 Big Ideas in the Works

Here are just a few of the exciting projects our committees are planning:

  • Career Day: A chance for students to explore agricultural careers and connect with professionals in the field.
  • Leadership Workshop: Designed to build confidence, communication skills, and teamwork among members.
  • Winter Dance Fundraiser: A fun and festive event that will help raise funds to support our chapter’s goals and activities.

Each idea reflects our commitment to growth, service, and agricultural advocacy—and we’re just getting started.

🚀 Looking Ahead

This meeting set the tone for a year full of collaboration, leadership, and meaningful impact. With our committees in motion and our officers motivated, we’re excited to bring these plans to life and make this one of our best years yet.

Stay tuned for updates as we turn ideas into action!
