On April 26th, Nease High School’s gym was packed to the brim with local employers and post-secondary technical schools looking to share their job and training opportunities with Nease students. From the St. Johns County Fire Rescue, to Military recruiters, to the American Culinary Federation and the Aveda Institute, to companies like WW Gay, CHW, and The Sawgrass Marriott, Juniors and Seniors explored their options and gathered more information. Some of those in attendance came ready with applications, prepared to start hiring students right away. Others provided details on paid apprenticeship program, or training programs that led directly into a paying career. All in all, hundreds of students were exposed to the many available pathways to a successful and satisfying career. Thank to the volunteers at Nease High School who organized this fantastic event!
