PVHS Academies Excel at District Project Innovation Competition

Project Innovation is a district wide competition that promotes entrepreneurialism and provides students the opportunity to develop a product or idea to solve a problem.  All Career Academies in St. Johns County are invited to participate.  The Ponte Vedra academy teachers did a great job of incorporating this real world competition into their curriculum and preparing their students for the competition.  Each academy held their own competition to choose a winning team resulting in four teams competing at the district level – a first for our school!  We are very proud of the great ideas and level of professionalism each team displayed in their presentation.  The Biotechnology Team (Bat Bros) placed 2nd and the Marketing Team (LA²) placed 3rd.  Both teams were invited to participate in the Pitch Factory competition at THE LINK’s Entrepreneurship Conference.  The Biotechnology team received an award for Top Impactful Idea.  Congratulations to all of the teams in St. Johns County and to our PV teams!
