Pedro Menendez High School participated in the Architecture Construction and Engineering (ACE) Mentorship Program for the first time this year. The ACE program allows high school students interested in STEM concepts to work with industry mentors on an RFP that is presented in competition form with other regional schools. The three Menendez teams all performed at a very high level and our Urban Renewal and Rebirth Team took first place for the region. We cannot wait to get started with next year’s teams.
A special thank you to Mr. Kevin Davenport of Creekside High School for his mentorship through this process. And thank you to all of our mentors who worked with our students along the way. Go Falcons!
