On October 7th, Juniors and Seniors with Nease’s Stellar Academy of Engineering, Pedro Menendez’s Academy of Architectural and Building Sciences, and St. Augustine’s Academy of Aviation & Aerospace gathered together to tour the aircraft manufacturing facility at Northrop Grumman. Students were introduced to the range of craftsmen, artisans, and engineers who work together at the facility. They also learned about the paths they can take after graduation if they’re interested in working at Northrop Grumman. Students enjoyed touring the manufacturing floor to see planes throughout different build stages, and had the chance to take a picture in front of an E-2D Hawkeye Model. Thank you to our partners with Northrop Grumman for organizing this Manufacturing Day field trip!
