Jeff Messick, of ROI Logistics, spent his morning at Tocoi Creek High School teaching students in the Academy of Leadership in Emerging Technologies all about the world of logistics. Students were able to learn about RFID and the relationship between some of the electronics they are building in class and the logistics career field.
Students were able to hold barcodes up to light and see the electronics working behind the scenes. Mr. Messick was able to explain the role of both robots and drones as they relate to distribution, tracking, and everything logistical.
