Creekside Students Perform Well at FBLA National Conference

Students from the Academy of Emerging Technology at Creekside High School returned from the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) National Leadership Conference in Anaheim, CA on July 3, 2017.  There were approximately 9,600 students competing and over 13,000 in attendance at the conference.  Teachers Kathy Sinardi and Lynda Kelly took 16 students (State qualifiers) from Creekside High School to compete in various events and six of these students placed:

  • Anna Perkins placed 6th in Public Speaking 1 (only 9th and 10th grade students can compete)
  • Trevor Flint, Clay Carter, and Teegan Bailey placed 4th in Network Design (receiving $200)
  • Ronnie Piccione and Julianne Martinez placed 2nd in Management Information Systems (receiving $600)
