In Summer 2017, the Career Academies had 112 high school students who interned for various businesses related to their academy focus. Citi offered a paid one-week robotics programming internship to 12 girls from our school district along with girls from several other school districts. They also offered six-week paid internships to 16 girls from our school district. The girls were mentored by Citi employees from a variety of disciplines such as programming, software testing, project management, digital design, videography, etc. Citi is committed to encouraging more girls to consider STEM careers.
Thank you to Citi for their extensive support of our Career Academy programs!
