BTHS Information Technology Academy

The Information Technology Academy is designed for students who want to be at the forefront of technology and innovation. Students are immersed in the fast-paced world of digital technology, innovation, and problem-solving through real-world, project-based learning. Students explore areas such as game design, computer hardware, software development, cybersecurity, networking, web design, data analytics, and emerging technologies that power today’s digital world. Through honors level courses the academy prepares students for industry certifications, college pathways, and careers in some of the nation’s fastest-growing technology fields.

Beyond the classroom, students can participate in the Tech Club and Programming Club, where they collaborate with friends, tackle technology challenges, and compete in events that showcase their skills. Take advantage of field trips, guest speakers, and internship opportunities offered through the academy. If you dream of designing your own games, creating apps, protecting networks, designing websites, building computers, or working with cutting-edge technology, the Information Technology Academy is for you.
