The St Augustine High School Academy of Future Teachers welcomed our 2023 Florida Teacher of the Year, Ms. Melissa Matz, to see our program. Melissa and her team of teachers from Clay County School District spoke with our teachers and students about our Education Program. They learned about our student internship programs, the St Augustine Chapter of the FFEA (Florida Future Teachers of America), and many of the community outreach programs our students participate in. They are excited to begin launching their own FFEA Chapters, and eventually Future Teacher Prep Programs in Clay County.
