UF Health St. Johns Academy of Future Healthcare Professionals
The electives in the UF Health St. Johns Academy of Future Healthcare Professionals (code: TCHSHEALT) offers students a unique opportunity combining classroom learning with real world experience. Students take a basic core curriculum at TCHS and as upperclassmen participate in a shadow rotation at UF Health/Flagler Hospital. Students mastering curriculum have the opportunity to earn an industry certification as an EKG Technician. Core curriculum options in this academy include college courses through St. Johns River State College and honors courses. Students are encouraged to join the curriculum based club, HOSA, to compliment their academy experience.
